Why Silk?

Silk is a natural fiber rarely found in store-bought gowns as the plastic-based fibers tend to be much more budget friendly. However, Sarah stops at nothing to ensure your gown is absolutely perfect, and this includes exclusively using 100% silk fabrics and linings that are typically and historically found in high-end couture gowns. (Also, silk does not always mean shiny!)

When do we begin?

I recommend starting this process about 1 year from your wedding date. As these gowns are Made in the USA, shorter timelines are sometimes flexible! Fabric orders alone typically take about 8 weeks.

What about a veil?

Of course! They are made to your exact gown's length and trimmed to perfectly coordinate for the MOST beautiful couture bridal look!

What if I change weight?

If you plan on changing weight throughout your engagement, please be very transparent with your plans to Sarah to ensure the gown will fit absolutely perfectly by your wedding date!

How many fittings?

Somewhere between four and six fittings will be necessary. Out-of-town brides may need only two. Ask about travel options!

Of course, Sarah loves vintage restorations! I can alter to fit and/or change the style.
